Summer : Tick bites

Ticks transmit a variety of diseases, most notoriously Lyme disease. For a tick to transmit Lyme, it must be on at least 36 hours. If you are unsure of the timing, or certain the bugger was there for >36 hours here are your choices:

  1. Whatch the area for development of an angry red rash then contact me for treatment or
  2. Take a prophylactic dose of doxycycline pre-emptively.
